CHI is the best. Get the one that's the medium size, not the skinniest. Not the biggest. Usually costs about $120 or $130. Totally heats up in 12 seconds.

I would say get GVP which is a generic version of chi. Or ION works well too. Sally Beauty has some really nice ones. Make sure it isn't Gold Plates and it's Ceramic plates because Gold plates ruin your hair and burn it.

GHD no doubt!!!! Soooooo much better than a Chi. You can create beautiful hair styles with it. I have the pink one for $205. The one I have is only sold at Sephora. You can even watch the how-to styling videos.

I would say the Chi is the best, I don't personally use straighteners (naturally straight hair) but I have only heard good things about it from my friends. It doesn't do as much damage to your hair as the other straighteners do.
