Hair Straightening Help!!?

Yeah, using a clothes iron to straighten your hair works, but it's really dangerous and could really damage your hair!! there is this straightener called the "sedu", i heard that it's really good and that it doesnt have the mechanical problems that the chi has. you can get it around $100 at www.folica.com

using an actual iron to straigten your hair is so damaging for it. if your friend keeps that up she'll have breakage all the way to her roots in no time. ceramix and babyliss are okay flat irons. not the best but they get the job done and are available at most salons and are pretty affordable.

You can use an iron, but it fries your hair! I used to do it with an iron, section by section, holding a large towel underneath. And yes it does work, but it damages your hair and dries it out.

I've been using the Curlmaster Nano Ceramics straightener. It gets upto 430 degrees and it works awsome, leaves your hair shiney and straight. You can use it when your hair is wet too as it has little vents for the steam to release. I bought it at Sally Beauty Supply for 40 dollars.

Also, use a base when you straighten your hair, it will help protect it from heat damage. I use Matrix Sleek Smoothing System (iron smoother). It's about 7 dollars at an local beauty store, salon or drug store.

Also be sure to use special hair treatment when washing your hair. Blowdrying and ironing can really damage your hair if you don't take care of it. I use Paul Mitchell Moisture shampoo %26amp; conditioner along with Instant Moisture daily treatment.
