Here's the story.I went to my salon on Saturday, and got my hair straightened. It came out BEUATIFUL.I loved, and so did all of my friends.I just washed my hair last night, and it is back to it's curly self. The problem is,it's shorter, and when it is short it seems to just poof out more.I have naturally curly, thick, and poofy hair that tends to frizz.I was wondering what I could do to get it straight again. My straightener stinks. So I was thinking of buying a new one,and I was looking at the CHI Wet To Dry Straightener and their Straight Guard. My salon used a wet to dry straightener, she said it helped lock in moisture. So it Chi that right kind for me?
HELP!!!!Want straight hair!?
My hair is just like that too! I did buythe Chi Wet to Dry straightener and I love it. My hair looks like I got it straightened at the salon every day. I replaced a MaxiGlide, and it was OK, but way too heavy.
Remember to separate your hair when you do straighten it - and it will look great. Finish off with the serum. I use Paul Brown Hawaii hair care products - just started about a month ago, and it's really helped restore some of the moisture in my hair.

that is my dream straightener... but i can't afford it.
i don't know about locking in moisture, but it is safe to use when you hair is wet, whereas other irons will cause more damage.

I have never used the CHI. but i know the GHD. is A WORLD RENOUND one for being THE BEST. even though they are an aussie product, http://www.ghdhair.com/.
Or i know u can get some 'permanent straightening' treatments at salons. http://www.targetwoman.com/articles/hair...
hope it helps.
you could call around a few salons and ask if they do it, but beware it is pricey, and lasts usually 3 months i think. http://209.85.173.104/search?q=cache:KAW...
good luck!

why dont you try japanese rebonding? treated hair will remain straight forever. just that when your hair grows your root will be curly and you have to do frequent touch up.
HELP!!!!Want straight hair!?
i used to have the same problem. my straitener is a conair (ceramic) wet2dry straitener. its red. =) it has like 25 settings on it.
what i do is i use garnier fructis sleek %26amp; shine shampoo %26amp; conditioner, i then before i blowdry my hair, i use the garnier fructis sleek %26amp; shine anti frizz serum, sunsilk hydra TLC 24/7 creme %26amp; Loreal studio line HOT straight (heat activated straitening cream). then i blow dry it %26amp; THEN i use my straitener on HIGH (25).
all this stuff can be found at wallgreens.
