Thick hair?

why not use just a normal hair Straightener that you can buy from any store,...I have the same kind of hair

Thick hair?

get a lot of layers... it will make your hair thinner

Thick hair?

Elseve Liss-intense, or some other straightening leave-in conditioners.

Thick hair?

Try Iso's bouncey product! You can also get your hair thinned when you get it cut!

Thick hair?

Go to a barbour and have it thined out underneath, you can have some hair removed to make it thinner and still look nice.

Thick hair?

yeah i have thick hair.

Thick hair?

Thin? no no no no no!!! Here is a product you will love... it shortens drying time (which protects your hair from unneccessary heat damage) and breaks down the bonds in naturally curly hair (only until you wash/wet it). It is called Straight Aero by Big Sexy... it is part of their Straight Sexy line. Some Smart Styles(located in most Super Walmarts) carry it... otherwise call around to salons in your area. Towel dry your hair as best as you can, spray on, COMB through (never use a brush on wet hair)... flip your head and blow dry using your fingers as a comb until your hair is 75-80% dry...then grab a brush, preferably a vent brush (hollow behing bristles, holes throughout brush) and follow the brush with the hair dryer... brushing it straight. You will be pleasantly pleased... a good follow up is Straight Sexy Smooth n Seal... it protects dry hair from humidity and daily weather damage... plus it makes your hair soo shiny with out adding oil.

Thick hair?

My hair is wavy and very thick, it is soft so it doesnt take a long time to straighten but it is wazy so it still gives me problems regarding frizz. I used to be very insecure about my hair and i wished i had straight hair, but then i learned how to deal with my hair through trial and error. I learned what products work best for me i learned it what weather and climates i shouldnt straighten my hair, and i also realized that it doesnt always have to be straight, it can look beautiful in its natural form! Just find a good mouse, gel or creme that will hold the curls in your hair and block humidity and frizz. I still straighten my hair every once in a while to get a different look but you dont need to do it all the time, half the time i have it straight and half the time i have it wavy. But if you really want to straighten it try to only use the hot iron sometimes, and try to blow dry it more often because after a few months of constantly using the flat iron......let me tell you it is a disaster waiting to happen! It damages your hair so much, so try to blow dry it or go to the salon and let them do it. But i still think you should try putting your hair in its natural form sometimes. And another thing i wanted to say was to be glad your hair is thick because when you get old and your hair starts thinning you'll still have a head of healthy hair because its so thick! I hate it when i see an old woman with hair so thin you could see bald spots and you can see directly onto her scalp. It looks so bad, so be glad you wont ever have to go through that because of your thick hair!! Dont try to make it thinner, if you want to straighten it go right ahead, but wanting to make it thinner is the wrong choice, its just trial and error, try out some products for hair like yours.

Thick hair?

that is the exact same thing that i got. i was getting so sick of it that i just got tons of layers, i mean the shortest was prolly at my cheekbone and if u use garnier sleek and shine everyday it makes hair smoother, less frizzy, and helps keep it straight and a lot of layers will make ur hair seem a lot thiner
