Best hair straightener?

I have curly thick frizzy dry red hair. What would be the best straightener for me. I used the ceramimc hot tools one and all the coating chipped off and the chi striaghtener was a huge waste of money also. Any other suggestions?

SEDU is great but I use CONAIR "INFINITI", it's cheaper and is as good as SEDU but a little lighter on the pocketbook. I use it all the time and it is GREAT!

coraliss [im not completely sure nthat is the right spelling] it is about $80 but it ius totally worth it! It works really good and really fast and it gets really hot. good luck! [i also suggest getting straightening cream so that a straightener doesn't reck ur hair, and herbal essences "pin straight" shampoo.]

I use GVP. It's the knock-off version of the Chi. Funny thing is, it works a lot better than a Chi and costs about half.
