Which hair straightener should I go for?

A lot of people tell me GHDs are the best, but I simply can't afford to spend to money on a GHD, so my options are a Chi (which one original or turbo?), Sedu or Maxiglide. I can't decide which one would be best. I'm male, and my hair is about chin level at the fringe and sides, my hairs fairly thick, but naturally very straight.

Any advice?

To be honest i have GHDs and have stuck with them for 6 years now, but for a while my mum had rimmel ones and to be completly honest i used them and they worked pretty much the same as ghds! seriously they were pretty good and im sure my mum only paid like 鎷?0 for them

If your hair is naturally very straight why would you want to use straightening irons?

Chi does make great products, but I'm a girl on a budget. I've used my Remington Wet2Straight iron sporadically for 2 years now and it does a fabulous job. I wait until my hair air-drys about 80% then section and flat iron it. I don't blow dry because it gets frizzy (yours might not but mine does). It's got ceramic plates and 25 heat settings so you can make it as cool or hot as you need. I believe it was about 35 bucks at Target (can find them at any drug store). They come in 3/4" and 2 3/4" widths so if you don't have a lot of hair, the 3/4" inch might work best for you. Mine's the big'un ^-^

I have very thick hair also and love the Chi irons to straighten it. I have an original and have used a turbo at a friend's house. Didn't feel or see a different between the two so I'd just save some money and go with the original. Good luck!

Use straightening balm this will help then get some Chi's or why not look for some second hand GHD'S on ebay.co.uk ?
