I am not sure what chi is, but I used to get my hair straightened every 3 or 4 months. I am not sure what my hair stylist used though...sorry. I know whatever it was, she bought at Sally's Beauty Supply. I found that my hair was so much easier to work with and style.

it will be permanent until u take a shower so what i do is put on a shower cap to protect my hair then take a shower

A Chi is a brand of flat iron, Im not sure if they have a chi straighting formula to achieve a permanent result. I have a chi flat iron, and I also am a cosmotologist, and I straighten hair with it, but as soon as you wash it, it goes curly again.
