If you want silky hair, you've got to blow dry it and straighten it. You have a great straightener, so make good use of it! Brush %26amp; blow dry the sections of your hair, and straighten when you're finished. Don't forget some hair spray.

GREAT shampoos:

Charles Worthington BIG HAIR No-Flyaways Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner

Pantene Pro-V Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner

I like the first kind better, it's the type I normally use and it works like a dream. It's supposedly for 'thin lifeless hair' which makes me laugh because i have thick hair but it still works well.

I suggest buying both kinds and seeing which works for you.

MAKE sure you're washing your hair right, make sure you wash out all the shampoo and don't put too much conditioner in.

A few suggestions:

Layers are totally in right now, cause they're sooo cute! Side bangs are freaking awesome too, and they work for almost everyone. If you're bored with your haircut I suggest trying these out.

Good luck!

I like herbal essences, but I find that if I use it too much, I get a lot of build up in my hair...so I use Dove more now.

whatever you do dont use beer or vineger, because they have alcohol, which will dry out your hair instead of making it shine, what you can use is the avocado or egg, but dont do it too often either cuz your hair will only absorb it a little at a time

Sunsilk Straighten-Up Shampoo

Sunsilk Straighten-Up Conditioner

Before you go to sleep let your hair dry...

helps for me!

PS. Don't use 2 in 1 because some of the necessary

products are taken out if they are 2 in 1 :):)

Okay STOP using the 2 in 1. They are TERRIBLE for your hair!!!!

if you really want silky hair use redken and patiene products. i use something called patiene smoothing lisser and it works amazingly. try it out

Get a long-layered-face-framing haircut (bangs if you want them). Use Purity shampoo and Always Smooth conditioner by Pantene. Before you blow dry apply Chi Silk Infusion. Blow dry with a large paddle brush. Smooth hair with Chi Flat Iron... iron the layers around the face forward and in (then the bangs if you got them).

for shampoo i use a clarifying shampoo and it looks really cheap but it works wonders then use a sunsilk conditioner (in a purple bottle) the chi should work really good so keep that.

after u do that then take John Freda frizz serum and use a penny size all over your hair and comb it.

that should to the trick
