I use the Chi and it works great on my hair, it warms up fast so I keep it on a low setting. It's the best flat iron I've ever had. well worth the money!I can't comment on the Sedu.

The revlon one is amazing. But its a little big... i got mine from a salon its really thin and heats up amazingly im not sure the brand. If you buy it from a salon its most likely to work like a charm.

i have thick hair and i want to know if theres anything i can do to make it thinner...i have a chi iron and that makes it nice and straight but when i dont straighten it out it gets all bushy! and nasty

Girl, I'm with you. I've been having the same problem since I was little. What I did was finding a good hairdresser to cut my hair with those razor-y blade, form it into a cute layered look and use some relaxer every now and then.

If things got way uncontrollable, I just go "big hair" with my curling iron. It works wonders all the time, because sometimes the 'too much' attempt of making it look flat just does not help at all.

i have the same problem with my hair.....well first thing i did was add a little style into it..i cutted my hair into layers which made it a less thick...but if i didnt do nuthin to it..it go crazy on me..it'll get bushy and and nasty...so i started to use a brand name "pink" and it glosses ur hair which kind of keeps ur hair down and if u straighten it with the glosser ..it looks like a miracle.

you can get a relaxer on it..... that loosens the bond on not so straight hair, and it will be more easier to straighten just to touch it up.. and it will be easier to manage... and if you keep it wrapped, it will have body and stay flat as well... i don't know what race you are not to disrespect but of you are a woman of color you can go to the beauty salon and get a relaxer on it, i don't know if you are white if they do that but i don't see why not... but in women of color relaxers are more used so you might have to go to a black hair salon to get your hair straightened.... i would get a consultation with a hairdresser so you can get more info on what you need to do because if you relax it you can bypass straightening it every single day.

From what you are describing, it sounds like you have natural curl in that head of hair. Well if you do, and even if it is just bushy and stright, you may want to try Mixed Chicks leave-in conditioner. The product smoothes the hair and tames frizz. you need to layer your hair when straightning. Pin the top part of your hair out of the way and straighten the bottom part then do the top.

Use a good shampoo and conditioner like dove or garneir frutris

i had a maxiglide an i have naturally curly and frizzy hair, sure on the infomercial it says that you can let your hair air dry but i have tried that once and the pins on the plate got tangled in my hair. I dont know if it was just me but the maxiglide left my hair stiff. I dont like it. then I bought a chi and lets just say its the best flat iron i ever bought. I give it an plus.

i love it...it is amazing, it leaves your hair feeling silky and smooth. my friend has the same problem, she has the most hair ever and is the curliest and frizziest ever, i used the maxiglide on her hair and it worked wonders. It is amazing and i love it....you should really get it!

Well to be honest, I wouldn't even go by what anyone would say for a question like that, every dog is different, and i would call the Vet tonight and or early tomorrow morning to get him in there so they can check him out. He may be biting the hair out.

Hello there... The missing hair could be allergies food reaction fleas hard to say. About your dogs male problem if he's that old more than likely his testicle will not drop you will have to take him in to the vet. O and get him neutered male dogs in tacked are at a higher rate of getting testicle cancer no I'm not a vet but my 21 years of working in the pet business I have seen cancer in young dogs male and female that have not been fixed there at a greater risk for cancer not to mention some male dogs left in tacked can have attitude problems and yes I have had to deal with dogs like that.

at night before bed. I do this because it takes too much time in the morning to let partially air dry and then do the whole blow out process. I am able to get it perfectly straight with the help of a blowdryer (T3 Tourmaline evolution dryer) and a chi farouk flat iron. The problem is that when I wake up, it is curly again (not as curly as natural, but humid day style curly). If I flat iron it, it just gets that burnt out end look that is gross. So I blow it out dry and flat iron it again. It takes time, but not nearly as right out of the shower. I know that it cannot be healthy for my hair even though I use nothing but the best styling tools and procucts. I have tried sleeping with velcro rollers, but having large cylinders pinned to my skull doesn't make for a comfortable nights sleep. So my question is, is there anything that I can do to maintain my blowout overnight? Any styling tips, products or tools that you can recommend would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You could try sleeping with your hair up in a bobble or just blow-drying it at night and straightening it in the moring

Not sure if you are but dont wash your hair everyday.

If your hairs in bad condition try some weekly conditioning treatments or over night mask. (try ghd)

Always use a leave in conditioner and make sure you protect the hair whilst blowing and straightening. I find that Aussie miracle hair insurance and Paul Mitchell seal and shine works best for me.

i have the exact same problem. all you have to do is clip your hair alll the way in the top of you head in a bun but not tight because then it leaves a mark. that gets your hair out of the way. in the morning just use the flat iron for any little messed up parts and you can just blow out the end so they won't look crispyy

Use Chi Oil. It works great. If I straighten my hair at night, I usually have to just do a quick 'touch up' in the morning. Your hair gets curly again because of the humidity in the air. The Chi Oil really helps me. Plus, you can use some frizz-free kind of oil. I havent really found one of those that I like.

Matrix makes a flat iron set in spray that you can try. I don't have curly hair but wavy. It does work for me. Just don't use a lot...it will make it oily!

you should wrap your hair at night. You can't just sleep on it after you blow dry it. I've done that (cus i hve curl hair too) if you wrap it it should come out better ad you also have to get something to cover it with when you wrap it.

You probably sweat because of the heat of the blow dryer so in your sleep your hair gets moisture, try using the cool button then maybe try a satin pillow case

well if your hair is actually thick then it will work but not so great for the price.

yes there are many people out there who say things like it works wonders and i love it and it made my hair so sort ans shiny and straight. and things like that but it actually does NOT work good on thick hair. well it works descent but not great.

i just bought a SEDU and it works wonders! my hair is very thick like you say yours is and the SEDU keeps my hair straight in humid weather and for many hours. it really does cut your straightening time in half.

so if you are looking for a straightener get the SEDU.

CHI is a really good brand it works really good on my hair but the GHD is a little bit better.

and i think there the same price but im not sure.

celeb stylists use the GHD one. but yeah i dont think that bed head would be as great as CHI.

The CHI is one of the best flat irons you can buy!!! It's what most of the professionals use. I know it's a bit pricey but it is well worth it.

Well CHI is one of the BEST flat irons you can get. But I don't know about the whole silky part. Cause my friend has a CHI and she straightens her hair and it takes out her curls the first try. Like she takes the CHI and puts it on her hair and straightens her hair and the curls come out the first time. She doesn't have to redo it or anything and it only takes her about 5 min to straighten all her hair.

But........She has like really frizzy and curly hair. And it doesn't leave her hair silky. It kinds does but not really.

okay well i have used the CHI before and it works great my hair is naturally poofy,wavy,frizzy and the CHI straightened my hair really good but when it was humid outside it only frizzed a little. so to me it works great. but i have heard about the Sedu and i did research on it and i think it seems better!! so i dont know. and do NOT buy the solia- it damages your hair soo badly!!!

Ok, i have thick wavy hair, and i love the Remington Wet2Straight. It's about 30 bucks, but it's worth it! I've never heard of those others you said, but they sound expensive. Try this one, it'll work for you. My sister also has thick curly hair, and she uses the same one as me. Hope I helped!!

i've heard of that wet2straight, actually just the other day from a coworker. she had nothing bad to say about it, all amazing stuff. now, if you want to go with an expensive one, go with the CHI. its what most if not all pro hairdressers use, and its FANTASTIC. can straighten any type of hair. find it at places like trade secrets. good luck!
