Chi IRON HELPP? I have almost fine hair and its not to thick.?

Since a Chi doesn't have a temp setting i was wondering if it would damage my hair. I usually use the crappy straightener from the drug store but it doesn't give my the shine i want and its also very damaging, so i was wondering if its better just to get a Chi straightener and how much damage does it do to my hair vs. the regular crappy ceramic one from the drup store. HELLP!!!

try a different conditioner with your hair first, one that works with heat styling. This could fix the problem and yes if your hair is fine you will damage it with using tongs that are too hot. If you do buy one make sure you use a top quality heat protection product on your hair when you use the straightener

Well in the case of hairstyling and products the more expensive the better they are. I would NOT buy a chi as they are very expensive but you could buy one from a hairsalon and it would probably do wonders. However you need to protect your hair before applying heat. You need to use a hair serum or a spray (NOT to be confused with hair spray) that is a heat protector.
