Conair or CHI?

I'm buying a new straightener...now the quesion is, Conair or CHI?

Some people say conair works better than CHI and vise-versa.

CHI's are supposed to have ceramic plates, while most Conair flat irons (if not all) only have a coating of ceramic that wears off after a while.

I have a Revlon straightener that has metal plates and i have had it for about 3 years. I think it had the ceramic coating to start with and now that it's gone, it's just ruinning my hair. :(

Do u guys have any experience u could share? It would help me out alot.

With any flat iron you buy make sure it has ceramic plates, not just coated with it and definitely not metal, you are damaging your hair even more then you have to be. First off make sure you put in some sort of oil or protection spray before you start straightening (i use biosilk, but i know v05 has a spray that is good too) i definitely recommend a Chi one though, they have a lot of good products on their line
