How do i fix my damaged hair?

I have really curly, damaged hair.

i started using relaxers a couple of years ago, then i started using a straighting iron (chi) and most recently i got japanese straighting done. i was satisfied at first but after my hair started growing back it's exactly the same

i cannot afford getting relaxers monthly, blow outs weekly or without a doubt japannese straighting again.

i don't know what to do and i can't even bring my hair back to it's original state because all the treatments (relxers, jap straightening) are permanent.

here are photos of my hair

i'm desprete for help! i just want straight hair.

the ones with the white t-shirt are from a couple of months ago the ones with the blue sweater are most recent

they are labeled h0 throught h7

oh my goodness u have really messed it up well id blame the chi iron the most i see this every day at work this is exactly what i mean when i tell the younger girls how bad it is for your hair now the biggest problem u have is when u go to cut off those nasty burned ends there just going to split worse then ever so id say cut it till it sops breaking bad and go pick up a cute little hair piece or 2 they look really cute honest theres not much thats gonna help u i dont mean really short but enough to help the entire mess. also go to a salon and get a deep conditioning treatment that will help u c its not only chemically damaged its heat damaged to dead hair is all thats is left hair is dead any how but when its wet and feels mushy its gone time to cut it off and i want to commend u for marking out your face on here u r one smart young lady i am a designer for 25 yrs goodluck

I saw the pics...and I believe that keeping your hair the healthiest and cheapest will be sticking with the CHI iron for now. Try and get that iron up in there by your roots carefully...and use a straighting balm from OSIS or ISO or Redken (all are professional straighteners)

~~PLease use them before you blow-dry, air-dry, or iron your hair. It will truly protect your hair, because the products have thermal protectors in them.

Wait until the jap/relaxers grow out more and keep conditioning treatments every week religiously. Hopefully you will be able to style it like usual after it grows out. Yes, this will take a long time, and I'm sorry your stylist did not tell you that. Good Luck =o)

If there are any design schools in your area, I suggest you start using them, as they are cheaper and cost effective. I would cut down the processing regiem to MINIMAL. No dyes, chemicals or other wise. I like to wash and condition my hair, them put on an intense conditoner, letting it stay in for awhile, if even rinsing it out. This moisterizes the hair and keeps is soft yet heavier so the the curls are more managable and helathier. I blow my curls out with a Ceramic Blow Dryer By Revlon. They are fairly affordable, cut down on the amount of chemical processing needed to maintain the hair, and still add shine and volume, keeping the hairs appeareance healthy while healping it grow. If you want straight hair and you were not born with straight hair then if may be better for you to get a wig for a time and stop putting all those chemicals on your hair because it is not healthy.

Straighteners are just permanents in reverse. You are only supposed to get a permanent every 4 to 6 months. I am sure a hairdresser will love to charge you for processing your hair but you are making yourself toxic.

Hair cannot be repaired; it can only grow out and you have to cut off the damaged ends. If a hairdresser is telling you hair can be repaired then run run away.

Maybe you should look at some hair styles that fit your face and type of hair better. A really good hairstylist can look at your hair and suggest some cuts and styles.

You can also roll your hair in enormous size rollers and use setting lotion; that is what we did in the 70's when we wanted long straight hair.

Heat and chemicals mess up your hair and scalp and are no good for your body.

First of all you have to lay off of all the treatments for a while. Use the Dove Repairing Shampoo and Conditoner. From what my sister tells me Relaxers take the nourishment out of your hair.

So basicly if you want your hair to become nourished again you need to lay off all of the relaxers and Straightners, Once your hair is nourished again only use your flat iron but use a heat protectant Ion makes a good one it costs about $5.00

You need to lay off all relaxers and even straightening irons for a while.

Unless you plan to cut it all off and start again at your new growth, you need a good hair plan to make you hair strong + grow.

I suggest regular trimming - if you cant afford the salon, do it yourself or ask a friend that knows how to do it.

For Shampooing, use Parnevu T Tree Shampoo.

For conditioning, use Organic Root Stimulator HAIR MAYONNAISE.

I suggest washing + conditioning your hair once a week.

Use Pro-Line PERM REPAIR after each wash+condition.

For GREAT moisturizing, use a small amount of Organic Root Stimulator CARROT OIL daily.

(However, do not use this product the same day you wash + condition- use PERM REPAIR instead.)

Permed hair should always be kept under a satin/silk head scarf every night! wrap your hair before applying the scarf.

The list of products I suggested will all help repair the damage that the perm has caused.

You can find all the products at a local drug store or walmart.
