Straightening hair?

Okay I have to puffiest hair ever. It's really puffy, and like wavy. I'm in the school talent show tomorrow, and my friend (who takes 5 minutes to straighten her hair) insists on me straightening mine. I can't straighten my hair tonight, because I need to shower. But my friend has planneed to come over tomorrow morning at 7:30. We have to leave be ready by 8:05. I'm straightening with a CHI p.s. So, will I have enough time?

Yeah, take a shower then blow dry it straight using a round brush then fix the loose waves with the straightener. You'll have plenty of time.

Definetly. Unless your hair is a living, untamable monster, it should be good. Just make sure not to do too large of pieces at a time or it will still be poofy.

yes probably. if you start straightening your hair right when she gets there, just to be safe. i have really puffy hair too and it takes me about 10-15 min. depending on how care full i'm being, so you should be good!

It depends on how long your hair is.

I have wavy hair that's very long (nearly 5 inches past my chest) and thick (unfortunately). It takes me around 10-15 minutes to get it completely straight if I'm doing it by myself and it's dry.

I use the CHI, too, and it's amazing!

yes but might sure you go through each strand of hair slowly cuz if you go to fast nothing will happen and you might wanna put a leave in conditioner to tame the puffiness [:

It should be enough time becuase the CHi has a really hot setting but it all really depends on how much sections you do. Also to make it less puffy after you straighten your hair you can use Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon Flawless Finishing Creme you can get this anywhere Wal-Mart etc. its really cheap too. This product will make your hair smooth and shiny and not puffy at all!!c

Not enough time. You have to straighten you hair in small sections and if it is not to your liking you would want to do it another way. I am telling you I have medium length hair and it too is puffy, I breath on it and it is frizzy. Anywho it takes me about an hr to get it straight. You need more time

no you should definately give yourself and hour and blowdry it straight the night before because my friends hair is a nightmare. it is SUPER curly/frizzy/tangled to the point that its impossible to even attempt to brush it. you hair might not look good because my friend who i was talking about earlier-its not that appealing her hair looks damaged when its straight, i think you hair will still be a mess but give yourself alot of time if you want to try
