Straightening straight hair?

I have naturally very straight and smooth hair. I've noticed that the end (about 3 inches) are getting frizzy and and when I straighten it witht he conair infiniti hair design thing it doesn't work. Will it damage my straight hair and make it worse at the top part?

If so what straightener is better solia or sedu. Please don't recommend the chi because I don't like the fact that there is no temp. control. Thanks

trim off the 3 inches!!!!!!! there is no need to straighten already straight hair! it damages it even more! just brush your hair and you will look beautiful!

Girl, your hair needs a trim. There is nothing you can do about split ends except trim them. Come on now.

Maybe you should just clip the ends instead of putting heat on it!! Heat isn't really good for your hair so it could just be making it worse. So you may want to try just clipping it and make sure you are taking good care of you hair by keeping it moisturized and make sure you get the ends clipped every so often!!

It sounds like you may have split ends. if you haven't had your hair trimmed in a while that would be my 1st suggestion. Otherwise try using a leave-in conditioner, hot oil treatment, or a dry ends serum. If your hair has just started doing this, then it is probably something that can be easily fixed (without all the heat).

you cant strainten straight hair it will burn man!

I recommend getting your hair trimmed.. You probably have split ends. I heard Solia is apparently the best, but I don't know that for a fact, cause I have a CHI.

Straightening straight hair?

Yes, it will damage your hair.

Straightening straight hair?

trim at the ends. But DON'T straighten you hair anymore if your hair is naturally really straight. I know a girl that had really straight hair and she straightened it alot and how her hair is really thin and the color is getting lost, and shes only 14.

Straightening straight hair?

First get a CHI.

Straightening straight hair?

You don't need a straightener, you need a trim. You can extend the length by not using any heat styling of any kind, eating right and taking multivitamins, but you cannot repair the damage that is already there. Cut it off, and stop the heat styling if you want it to grow back longer and healthier.
