Which is better a real original Chi or ghd hair flat iron straightener?

I have very very thick curly curly hair i never wear it down because its so curly and looks like a gross fro. Actually its more like triangle shaped, so i like to straightener my hair a lot. Please! someone help i want to get a good hair straightener finally, then spending 20 bucks on these cheap hair straighteners.

I have a CHI that I purchased at a Farouk Hair Show more than 5 years ago and it works great. I use it every day. My customers love them and most who straighten their hair have purchased one. In all fairness, I cannot say anything about the ghd because I have never used one. Always use a thermal protectant on your hair when using a flat iron. CHI Iron Guard is very good as is WIO Strait Balm by Framesi.

In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, Ghd. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: Chi, Hai, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.
