Chi straightner????

Okay, I really want a chi straightener because my parents make me walk to school (bleh!!!) at 7 a.m. and my hair always gets messed up because of the mist outside!!!! So my questions are if you use the chi, will the style stay in tact, even if it is damp outside?? And can it double as a barrel curling iron, and if so, should i get a one inch, two inch, etc.??? thank you sooo much!!!!!!!

yes the CHI straighner is THE BEST. i had mine for about 3 years and its still going strong. [ if your parents wont let you get it but wants you get the cheap kinds like conair and etc. tell them that what they're paying for is well worth it. it doesnt damage your hair as much as the other brands do and it lasts long ]

well even if you DO straighten your hair, it will frizz so put some anti frizz product in there and you'll be good.

and yeah it can be a curling iron. i got the 1 in. and its easier to handle. so i recommend that(:

thats exactly why i got the chi. i walk to the bus too. so my hair neverrr stays. =/ i dont know if i dont use the right product in my hair...but idk you can try it..it just didnt work for me =[

I use the one inch and i luv it! if your outside and its damp i think itll be ok but if its raining it messes it up. mine doesnt double as a barrel curling iron but some of the other types might. buy the hair protecting spray that goes with it it works great! it heats up rly fast too so u wont have to get up as early lol! =] good luck.

I have a chi and it is my best friend!!!!! If you get mist on your hair it will not keep the style no matter what you use. I reccomend the chi 1 inch, it is easier to use and works better. I am able to curl my ends under by how I hold and pull the chi. Now if you are looking for curls you may be out of luck. Get one then get a hat you can wear over your hair or a hankerchief you can wear in a cute style and pull your hair in a hair clip or with a pony tail holder. I know walking to school sucks, I did it for 12 years and then all through college. Good luck that chi will take great care of your hair, and FYI Chi make awsome shampoo called Infra for straiteners and it smells great. The silk infusion will allow your hair to shine!! CHeck out all the great products by them, I swear by them.

I own a CHI 2" straightener and i also walk to school everyday and my hair always gets messed up, try using a product like frizz ease by john frieda to keep it nice. I think CHI straighteners are really good and you should definitely buy one. I'm going to buy the 1 inch next time but it depends on you hair (thick/thin). Hope I helped you :)

Chi's are very good striaghteners, and they work really well, but the thing about a Chi is that it breaks so fast.. Go to Folica.com and click on the chi and read the reviews from real people who bought and used the chi. I suggest getting a Sedu for the second option =)

Yes, from the reviews I have heard, the Chi straightner is a very good straightner. It is a very good selling brand, and it is definatl worth it. I dont use flat irons that much because my hair is naturally straight, but you should definatly try it. If you have thicker hair, get a two inch. If you have thinnner hair, I suggest you get a one inch.

A chi may or may not keep your hair straight on the walk to school, depends on your hair, but yes you can use it to curl your hair like a barrel curling iron.
