If you have a Chi straightener, can you tell me whether it causes more frizz or less?

My hair is extremely frizzy.

And yeah.

I want to get one.

But not if it'll make my hair MORE frizzy.

well you need to use some sort of heat protectant so your hair wont get frizzy

For some people, it works wonders. For others, it destroys their hair. The Chi really scorches your hair. After a while of using it, your hair starts to thin out and frizz up even more. If you're getting one, my advice is to apply a heat activated or heat protectant spray to your hair before using the chi. The Iron Guard spray that comes with it is great for protecting your hair, too. Just make sure you don't use the Chi too much. Good Luck! Hope I helped!

Wash your hair with cooler water. Humidity and heat casue hair to be frizzy and curcly. Stay away from blow dryers and straightners

It will smooth the frizz. Try using Redken's glass (serium for frizz) on your hair or some sort of protector for your hair before straightening.
