I love it! I have wavy hair that is really thick n poofy but it smoothes it out nicely. I bought it at a beauty supply store. My hairdresser uses it too :) ...I use the basic black one don't know which model it is or anything...

i actually got a FHI ceramic iron, and I LOVE it! i've had it for several years now, and it is GREAT! I got it at a beauty store in town. I have LONG CURLY THICK hair, very hard to straighten, but with this iron it only takes 20 minutes!!!! I LOVE IT!

I've used CHI for many many years, and ive had one of my CHIs that I use at work for 3 yrs now and its working perfectly, i have heard people having problems with them but its usually when they use the wet to dry chi and/or they purchase it from a non professional place such as a drugstore or grocery store, you need to buy one at a salon.

I absolutely love mine. I had tried a few others before the CHI, and they don't even compare. Although I would advise not to get the pink CHI. My original one got shorted out in Thailand... so when I came back to the U.S. I thought I would get the cute pink one. Well it was made really cheaply and did not work as good, and it was more expensive. So I took it back and got the basic one, and I love it just as much as my first one!
