What's better: Sedu or CHI?

I know it sort of depends on my hair type so I'll tell you now. I'm asian with very stubborn, straight, thick (veryyy) hair that never styles and if it does curl it'll only stay on for less than 30 minutes!! I'm not even exxagerating. So I've heard that Sedu and CHI is really good. But I want to know your opinion. Which model of Sedu is best or which model of CHI is best? I want it to be 1in. Please help me out here? I want results like this:

If you think that flat irons won't be good for my hair then what curling irons (not rollers!!) do you recommend? And what size? Products to hold the style?

THANKS!! =D

What's better: Sedu or CHI?

Yeah I've had my Chi for over two years with no problems. But I don't recommend them for curls. But they are not junk! I don't understand why Sedu owners insist on trash talking the CHI. Can't they accept that it is a quality hair straightener?

What's better: Sedu or CHI?

chi

What's better: Sedu or CHI?

i have a chi.

and i have thick curly hair and it works really good.

yeah my hair is stubborn too.

but a chi works really good.

a sedu doesnt work that good as a chi does.

and for curly hair i recommend herbal essences "totally twisted"

it works really good.

What's better: Sedu or CHI?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Chi's do not last long. They break way too often. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.

To purcase a Sedu at the cheapest price, go to Folica.com , scroll to the very top and click on Hair Styling. On the left hand side, there will be and A - Z brand list. Find Sedu, click on it, and everything else from there is self - explanitory.

For more information on a Sedu, you can go to sedubeauty.com.

Also, with GHD's, I wouldn't reccommend them because of the price. Sedu is a lot better for cheaper.

I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.

It reaches 410 degrees.

Good luck!

What's better: Sedu or CHI?

I use my chi for everything. I can even use the straightening chi that I have for subtle waves. All chi irons are good and I've had mine for about 2 years and it still works great and they heat up fast. Use matrix SLEEK LOOK styling product for smoothness and sleekness and then use pro-claim stay on glosser for shine. Pantene Pro-V hair sprays work really well too without causing flaking from too much product

What's better: Sedu or CHI?

ya you should use those!

What's better: Sedu or CHI?

Sedu. I have curly hair and had been using a cheap flat iron. It was giving me hair breakage and drying my hair out. I bought the Sedu hair straightener a few months ago. It is easy to use, leaves my hair shiny and "dead straight" within 5 minutes of use (after blow drying).

What's better: Sedu or CHI?

As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons, including Sedu, Chi, Paul Mitchell etc. The Sedu is very lightweight and heats up quickly. The CHI is a little heavier, the biggest problem is that the cord may easily short out.

my views:

SEDU:

1) Lightweight

2) Straightens better

3) The plates very smooth-does not catch hair or break hair

4) Have temperature control (good)

5) Heats up fast

6) Hair becomes softer and shininer for my thick hair.

7) 2 yr warranty

CHI:

1) Heavier

2) Cheaper

3) Straightens well

4) No temperature control (only fixed temp)

5) Breaks easily

6) 1 yr warranty

Personally prefer Sedu.

What's better: Sedu or CHI?

i have both a chi and a sedu.

i have a 1" chi and a 1 1/2" sedu.

the sedu is wayyyy better and i use it everyday! its the best flat iron that i have ever used! i love it so much and the sedu 1" works just the same!! it works really good at curling your hair too! so i would definantly go with the sedu!!
